Thank You ! Thank You ! to all those who entered our very first Bury CC Golf Day - it was a great success with 20 ! teams entering - we were well looked after by Pike Fold Golf Club Unsworth - the Club Professional Grant & Caterer Candy were very welcoming & helpful and the food was quality ! .
Over the last two weekends - Paul Whitehead ( Max`s dad u13`s ) / Andrew Fairclough ( Harveys dad u11`s ) / Bern Neill ( Liams dad u18`s ) & Paul McGinnis ( Robs dad u18`s ) have given there time up to cover the eyesore of the old fencing to the left of the new pavillion and erect a brand new fence - this was a superb effort so a big thank you from all at Bury CC .

Last Sunday 7th April saw a turnout of over 90 volunteers turned out to lend their services in the run-up to the new season. A £500 donation was handed over by Gill Dixon on behalf of Bury's NatWest branch.

Having originally engaged John Campbell for the 2013 UK season John recently found himself nominated for the West Indies HPC (High Performance Academy) and then more recently a possible inclusion in the much publicised T20 Caribbean Premier League due to take place mid July, obviously this impacted on John's availability and we wish him well in both ventures.
We have once again returned to our contacts in South Africa and we are delighted to announce Kobus Scholtz will be joining us to fill the vacant overseas role, Kobus hails from the South West Districts and has gained good reviews in the early stages of his career, we wish him well in his first trip to the UK and sure we will benefit from having him around the club.
